This is one of those blog posts where I start to vent my frustration over how complicated it is to have your website target a global audience. Here’s my dilemma I have a website in English targeting United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia all English-speaking countries, I am lucky enough to own the domains for all of these countries (e.g.co.uk,.co.nz, and .com)….
All of these are English speaking countries so why cant I just have the same content on each of those sites ? … Duplicate content that’s why… Google says’s in this dilemma you should host everything on a .com (like a global domain) but truly .com is not global, if you host in the United States for example that .com will be targeted for the United States. What about Google Webmaster Tools I hear you say, well that’s all great but what if I want to target many English speaking countries (with GWT’s you can only target one country) also don’t forget the are other search engines such as Yahoo and Bing who don’t have Geo-Targeting (at the point of writing this article).
I really think in the growing worlds web market that this is a issue that all search engine providers should be working on, So sort of standard global meta for example (eg <meta name=”geotarget” content=”uk, usa, nz, au, ca” />) something simple like this would be a god send to many web developers / companies…

To be honest I have never really had this as a problem. Whenever I check out my sites stats on Analytics I aways seem to have a mass of unexpected visitors from all accross the globe. But then I do not use multiply domains for one site, usually just a .com or maybe if it is for UK a .com with the co.uk re-directed straight to the .com
Try searching google for the ‘Coolest guy’
he should be able to help you out with your SEO problems
